We're excited to announce Alluno v0.3.0 — a release focused on making Alluno more stable and reliable.
What's New
More Stable
- Fixed memory issues — Alluno no longer uses extra memory over time. Long sessions now run smoothly without slowdowns.
- Better cleanup — When you disconnect or pause, everything shuts down properly. No more leftover processes.
More Reliable Connections
- Auto-reconnect — If your connection drops, Alluno will automatically try to reconnect instead of giving up.
- Smoother restarts — Changing settings or restarting now works cleanly without connection conflicts.
Better Video & Audio
- Updated to FFmpeg 8.0.1 — Latest video/audio processing with improved performance and codec support.
- Improved video encoding — Both hardware (GPU) and software (CPU) encoding are now more stable.
- Cleaner audio — Fixed audio glitches that could happen when ending a session.
- Improved Synchronization — Fixed synchronization issues for audio and video.
UI Improvements
- Settings now save correctly — Your codec selection no longer resets to "Auto-detect" when reopening settings.
How to Update
Already have Alluno installed?
- Click update on the UI or Right-click the Alluno icon in your system tray
- Click "Check for Updates"
- The update will download and install automatically
New to Alluno?
- Download the latest version from our releases page
Your settings will be preserved after updating.
