The short version
We do not record your screen
Screen content, keystrokes, audio and files are encrypted between your host and your viewer and never stored. With end to end encryption on, not even the relay in between can read them.
We collect the minimum
An email to sign you in, a device name to tell your machines apart, and the connection metadata a session needs to work.
You keep the switches
Visibility, access, who may join a room and for how long are all yours to set, and to change later.
You can leave
Delete the account from settings. Every machine is unlinked, every invite link closes, and the data goes with it.
What we never collect
What appears on the host's display during a session, apart from preview clips you turn on yourself.
What you type, click or press while connected.
Session sound, voice in a room, or anything from a microphone.
Files you view, edit or move through a session, and the contents of any clipboard you share.
Which software you run on the host.
What we do collect
Two categories, both described in full on the next page.
Email, display name, an optional profile picture from a sign in provider, device names, your settings, and billing details held by the payment provider.
Which machine was opened, by which accounts, when it started and ended, over which transport, and with how many viewers at most. Each host also reports its operating system, app version, public IP address and region. Enough to route a session and to help when one goes wrong.
How it is used
To run the service
Signing you in, pairing machines, introducing a host to a viewer, choosing a relay near you, and charging the plan you picked.
To keep it working
Session records tell us where sessions fail and which regions need capacity.
To help you
When you write to support, the metadata for your sessions is what lets us answer with something better than a guess.
We do not sell data, and we do not use it for advertising.
