What Alluno does
One host, any screen
The host runs on Windows, macOS or Linux. The client is a browser, so there is nothing to install on the phone, tablet or laptop you watch from.
Input the game cannot tell apart
Keys, mouse motion and gamepad state arrive at the host as device input; on Windows, games read them like real hardware. On WebRTC sessions, rumble comes back the same way.
Encrypted end to end
WebRTC is encrypted end to end by itself. Media over QUIC is encrypted on every hop, and end to end once you switch it on in the machine's settings, so the relay in the middle only carries bytes it cannot read.
How a session works
The host captures the screen
On Windows the host can grow a virtual display at the exact resolution and refresh rate of your client, so a headless tower behaves like a desk setup. The picture is encoded on the GPU where one is available.
A transport carries it
Each machine is set to WebRTC or Media over QUIC. WebRTC, the default, runs peer to peer for the shortest path and suits one person driving. Media over QUIC fans out through a relay when several people watch, so a slow viewer only stalls their own picture.
Your browser paints it
The client decodes in the browser and sends your input back on the same connection. Nothing is installed on the viewing side.
The parts you will meet
Every machine you have paired, who is watching, and the controls for access, visibility and seats. This is where a session starts.
The application on the machine you reach. It shows the pairing code, keeps capture switched off until somebody joins, and on Windows can run as a service so it survives sign out.
Rooms in the browser for camera, microphone, screen sharing and chat. Hand out the link and people join from a browser, no account needed.
Machines their owners chose to list. Anyone the machine admits can drop into it from there.
What people use it for
Play
The tower stays under the desk with the power and the cooling. You play from a handheld on the sofa, a TV in another room or a laptop in another country.
Work
Check a build, nudge a parameter or tail a log on a headless machine that behaves exactly like the one at your desk.
Share
Hand someone a link, not an account. Guests join from a browser with the inputs you allow, for as long as you allow.
Show
Demo a game build, teach a workshop or support a family member without shipping a single file.
Source and licensing
It stands on a great deal of open source work, which the Credits pages acknowledge. Compiled builds ship through GitHub Releases, and use is governed by the Terms of Service.
